About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in SB Urology. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's post-registration experience in the specialist area of SB Urology and Bowel Management, as well as a strong track record of continuing professional development (CPD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver care in line with the five core concepts of the Clinical Nurse Specialist role, as outlined in the Framework for the Establishment of Clinical Nurse Specialist Posts, 4th edition, National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery (NCNM) 2008.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • To participate in education and training initiatives to enhance the knowledge and skills of nursing staff.
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to SB Urology and Bowel Management.

Requirements:

  • Registration on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by An Bord Altranais and Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
  • Minimum 1 year's post-registration experience in the specialist area of SB Urology and Bowel Management.
  • Strong track record of continuing professional development (CPD).
  • High standard of clinical, professional, and administrative capacity for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
