This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a senior healthcare professional in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, working closely with colleagues to ensure the delivery of effective services.
The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed, and that services are delivered to the highest possible standards. This includes managing staff teams, coordinating input from other departments, and providing mentorship and leadership to team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring personal plans, risk assessments, and behavioural support plans are up to date
- Providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs
- Meeting regulation compliance in accordance with Health ACT 2007 (Care and support of residents in designated centres for persons (Children and Adults; with disabilities) Regulations 2013
- Managing staff teams to provide support to individuals with complex needs
- Coordinating input from other departments as required
- Providing mentorship and leadership to team members
- Overseeing the service across shifts to ensure effective and efficient services are delivered
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 7/8 Degree in a Health or Social related qualification
- Full Clean Driver's license
- Minimum 3 years managerial experience within a similar health or social care setting
