Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Final Test Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and testing systems and sub-assemblies against test specifications, as well as performing inspection operations on sub-assemblies, modules, and systems using engineering drawings, schematics, flow diagrams, specifications, and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and testing systems and sub-assemblies against test specifications
  • Performing inspection operations on sub-assemblies, modules, and systems
  • Preparing samples, reagents, and diluents for chemical testing of systems and modules
  • Establishing causes of malfunction and non-conformance in the electrical, hydraulic, and chemical operation of systems and modules
  • Checking each system against each branch order to ensure the customer receives the correct systems
  • Assisting Engineering in the initial installation and verification of new test procedures, equipment, and products
  • Assisting Engineering in the design of test fixtures and modules inspection/test procedures
  • Completing and maintaining all necessary paperwork, test data, etc. for each system/module
  • Overseeing and checking any repair work to ensure faults are corrected and conform to specifications
  • Awareness of risks involved in handling dangerous, corrosive, or infectious materials
  • Training new personnel or existing technicians on unfamiliar systems or modules

Requirements:

  • Third-level qualification in Engineering (Degree/Diploma/QQI Level 6 Certificate)
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Ability to train new personnel or existing technicians on unfamiliar systems or modules
  • Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, SAP, etc.)
