Electrical Engineering Specialist Role Overview

The position of Electrical Engineering Specialist is integral to the success of our projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures to guarantee a safe working environment for everyone.
  • Provide records, reporting, and equipment ordering support to site management teams.
  • Conduct thorough electrical system inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate test equipment and tools to minimize downtime and prevent further damage.
  • Connect cables to circuit breakers, transformers, CT/VT, and other components according to established protocols.
  • Test continuity of circuits, equipment, and fixtures to guarantee system safety and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective electrical system planning strategies to optimize layout and installation of wiring and equipment.
  • Oversee the assembly, installation, and testing of electrical systems to ensure seamless integration and operation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Holding a valid Electrician qualification is essential.
  • Desirable experience in Underground LV Services can be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • Excellent organisational ability is necessary to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A valid SafePass certification is mandatory.
  • Fluency in English (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE, or equivalent) is also required.
