We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team as a Senior Ab Initio Production Support professional. This role is responsible for ensuring timely access to accurate data by monitoring performance and intervening when necessary.
Main Responsibilities:- Optimise code to create efficiencies in existing batch processes, resulting in improved productivity and reduced errors.
- Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly to ensure completion of overnight batches.
- Collaborate with operational teams to manage the data engineering process, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
- Lead complex investigations to identify root causes and implement effective data fixes, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience optimising code and managing scheduled batch processes, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
- Extensive knowledge of data quality challenges and solutions, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with expertise in data integration technologies and data-driven strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, advocate for the team, and build trust with stakeholders.
