Medforce Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Communication Expert to join our client's team in an acute Hospital in Dublin. As a Staff grade professional, you will work across general medical / surgical wards, providing expert Speech and Language Therapy services to patients with various speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and diagnosing adult patients with complex speech, language, and swallowing difficulties
  • Developing individualized care plans in collaboration with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals
  • Providing education and training to patients and staff to support communication and swallowing rehabilitation
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc/MSc)
  • Registration with CORU
  • Minimum of one year's post-graduate experience in a similar setting, ideally within an acute hospital environment
