Seeking a Python/Quant Developer
We are looking for a skilled Python Quant Developer to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our Market Risk and Finance teams, you will play a critical role in implementing strategic processes across Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities (FICC), and Equities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Optimise Financial Risk Management Applications: You will design, develop, and maintain complex financial risk management applications using Python.
- Work with Large Datasets and Distributed Architectures: You will work with large datasets and distributed architectures to ensure the smooth integration of our systems.
- Collaborate with Trading, Finance, and Middle-Office Teams: You will collaborate with trading, finance, and middle-office teams to ensure seamless communication and effective project execution.
- Ensure Smooth Integration within an Agile Development Environment: You will work in an Agile development environment to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- Strong Python Development Experience: You must have strong Python development experience and a solid understanding of numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Background in Capital Markets and Financial Risk Management: You should have a background in Capital Markets and Financial Risk Management.
- Solid Numerical and Problem-Solving Skills: You must have solid numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Rates Products and Excel (Including Macros): You should be familiar with rates products and Excel (including macros).
- Comfortable Working Under Pressure and Meeting Deadlines: You must be comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
About the Contract:
- 6 Month Contract Expected to Roll: The contract is expected to roll over after 6 months.
- 3 Days per Week Onsite: You will work onsite 3 days a week.
- Daily Rate €550-€700 per Day: You will receive a daily rate of €550-€700 per day.
