Lawler Sustainability is a leading provider of sustainable solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to work on a range of projects, including LEED certification, building energy modeling, and environmental impact assessments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting site visits, reviewing project documentation, and providing technical expertise to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct LEED Pre-Assessments with new clients to ascertain their potential score.
- Educate and advise the design team on the requirements to achieve points within LEED.
- Review and approve any evidential documentation and answer any design team questions.
- Be proficient in using the LEED project portal to upload projects for certification.
- Have a great understanding and knowledge around the fundamentals of the LEED process.
- Carry out site visits to confirm required measures have been implemented and collect evidence as required.
- Complete LEED BD+C Assessments on commercial projects.
- Prepare thorough, high-quality, technical reports which in a clear concise manner, communicate any issues and conclusions.
- Degree level qualification in Built environment/Building Services/Sustainability.
- 2+ Years working in a similar role - not essential.
- Accredited LEED AP.
- Basic technical, mechanical & electrical knowledge.
- Ability to identify, manage and measure KPI's.
- Familiarity with energy and environmental performance: conceptual energy modelling, daylight analysis, energy audits, renewable energy and rainwater harvesting systems, etc.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Experience with LEED BD+C projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Self-Motivated.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Familiar with the LEED Online Portal & certification process. Proven list of completed projects worked on.
