Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in Athlone. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with all legal responsibilities pertaining to the profession of pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the Dispensary: Oversee the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines to customers, adhering to pharmacy guidelines and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, ethics, and codes of practice as laid down by the Irish Pharmaceutical Society.
  • Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Foster strong relationships with customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, other departments, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Qualifications: 3 years qualified with a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
  • Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to handle high-volume dispensing tasks, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records.
