Job Title:
Electrical Project Engineer

At Dawn Meats, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our Engineering team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering projects are completed in line with our strategic objectives and goals.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to work as part of a wider project team and assist in the delivery of key projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and a proven track record of delivering projects from conception to completion.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the design, implementation, and handover of multi-disciplinary engineering projects. This will include working on a range of Group Projects, from Building Services to Production facility Upgrades. You will also be responsible for coordinating elements on multiple projects across various production sites, adhering to company project management procedures and SOPs.

Key responsibilities will include designing and tendering engineering projects, verifying and commissioning engineering systems, developing project budgets, and providing technical support to production sites.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A 3rd Level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or similar.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Project Engineering role within Engineering Project Management functions, with experience working on medium and large-scale capital projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project.
  • Excellent AutoCAD skills.
  • Certified qualification in Project Management (preferable).
  • Proven experience in delivering projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and legislation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience of strong organisational skills.
