Job Role: Procurement Engineer

In this role, you will play a critical part in driving efficiency and effectiveness in our procurement processes and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will champion the adoption of supplier innovation and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfMA) principles through Early Supplier Involvement (ESI).
  • You will lead RFx competitions to identify the lowest total cost of ownership (ToCO) sources, ensuring alignment with our strategic commodity plans.
  • You will implement supplier changes to mitigate risks, reduce costs, and enhance performance while optimizing global part and supplier sourcing.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Science discipline (QQI level 8), or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in procurement or technical roles, preferably in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of industry best practices in ESI, DfMA, DtC, VE, and Engineering Change Management.
  • Negotiation skills and commercial acumen to secure effective business agreements with suppliers.
