Job Title

A healthcare data expert is required to lead the generation of robust insights and support the acceleration of high-quality prediction systems.

The successful candidate will leverage patient-level data science and informatics into each step of the clinical trial process, with a focus on feasibility.

This involves utilizing large datasets, identifying key analytical opportunities, and communicating findings effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Gain a deep understanding of the domain and core processes to apply data science and analytics to solve business problems.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify key opportunities for analysis.
  • Communicate and share data insights with senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain quality control and audit readiness of analytic solutions.
  • Deliver results according to stakeholder requirements.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives requiring advanced analytical expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data science and AI applications.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to expedite clinical insights generation.
  • Understand strategic ambitions and communicate them to associates.
  • Foster resilience and agility in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrate self-awareness, integrity, and good interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, or a Master's degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Epidemiology, Public Health, or related discipline.
  • Industry experience in predictive modelling, advanced analytics, market intelligence, strategic planning, clinical trial design, or execution.
  • Previous work with patient data, including clinical information systems and EMR.
  • Familiarity with clinical data coding systems and/or computer-based clinical search tools and data analytics.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership and accountability for results.
  • Strong research skills to locate unusual information and build deep domain knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and build partnerships.
