About the Role

This Environmental Health and Safety Manager position involves identifying hazards, discovering opportunities for improving conditions, and executing various safety programs. You will communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce and ensure inductions are up to date.

Main Objectives
  • To manage health and safety across all sites departments
  • To prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policies
  • To conduct accident investigations and recommend corrective actions
  • To develop and implement effective safety programs
Essential Skills
  • A degree in Environmental/Occupational Health and Safety
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Chartered member or progressing to be with IOSH is desirable not essential
  • IPPC licence experienced
  • Manual handling instructors qualification
  • Noise measurement and assessment qualification and experience
  • Waste Management and recycling experience
  • Emergency response system implementation and management experience
  • First Aid Qualification
