Skillful professionals with a strong background in chemistry or biochemistry are invited to apply for the role of Technical Lead in our Biopharma laboratory. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on development, validation, and release/stability projects, performing analytical testing, method optimization/validation, and troubleshooting across various assay formats, clients, and cell lines.

Responsibilities
  • Independently perform tasks such as analytical testing, method optimization/validation, and specialty technologies studies or method transfers for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds in various formulations and delivery systems.
  • Review and critique study protocols, project status reports, final study reports, and other technical documents related to projects.
  • Prepare and review study protocols, project status reports, final study reports, and other technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Communicate data and technical issues to clients on a regular basis, providing timely updates and insights.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, supporting their growth and development.
  • Lead analytical troubleshooting sessions, collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality systems.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for success.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of general chemistry and separation techniques (HPLC, icIEF, capillary electrophoresis, ELISA).
  • Proven experience in method development of identity and purity assays.
  • Ideal candidate would have experience leading CMC studies for biopharmaceutical products, including method validation.
  • Proficiency in technical operating systems and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with ability to independently perform root cause analysis.
  • Strong technical writing skills, with ability to create clear and concise reports.
  • Time management and project management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior staff members, supporting their growth and development.
