Accountant Role

The General Ledger team is accountable for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial records. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing accounting processes for multiple entities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounting activities for various international entities.
  • Manage projects to enhance accounting processes and systems, including chart of accounts, fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, balance sheet reconciliation, external audit, and coding.
  • Allocate project staff costs globally.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysis, Statutory, and Finance teams to guarantee accurate monthly/annual reporting.
  • Analyze GL entries and resolve root cause issues to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Develop and utilize GL reports through SAP Business Intelligence.
  • Maintain and improve our Chart of Accounts.
  • Support leadership in interpreting financial data, tracking objectives, and facilitating financial planning and forecasting.
  • Assist with other related finance tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, project management, or analysis in a multinational environment.
  • Shared Service experience beneficial.
  • Accounting qualification required (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across all levels and functions.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Second European language an advantage.
  • Business Intelligence report writing experience beneficial.
