Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Business Development Manager to join our team at Scientificjobs. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand our presence in the Irish healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Activities:
- Identify and visit existing and prospective clients to sell our pathology services
- Provide clients with written quotations, pricing, and other relevant information when necessary
- Conduct annual account reviews for key accounts to monitor financial and service performance
- Respond to sales enquiries, generate quotations, and complete tender documents as required
- Build relationships with clients through active consultation and regular communication
- Develop a complete understanding of client needs and business area requirements
- Monitor performance against agreed budgetary targets, identify deviations, and develop strategic plans to ensure targets are met
- Ensure customer contact details are up-to-date in all company systems
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in direct sales and/or key account management
- Proven ability to respond successfully to commercial tenders
- Strong desire to independently pursue new business opportunities
- Total commitment to client satisfaction
- Team-oriented and willing to adapt quickly to change
- Excellent presentation and business writing skills
- Ability to successfully negotiate with laboratory heads, procurement managers, and hospital consultants
