Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Radiation Therapists in clinical service delivery across radiotherapy planning, pre-treatment, and treatment areas.
- Ensure the highest safety and accuracy standards in radiotherapy processes, including dose calculations and equipment management.
- Foster a culture of continuous professional development, offering training and mentorship to team members and students.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of departmental protocols and policies.
- Deputise for the Radiation Therapy Service Manager as required and contribute to strategic service improvement initiatives.
- Uphold and promote compliance with relevant health, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Registration with the Radiation Therapists Division of the Radiographers Register (CORU).
- At least 6 years of post-qualification experience in Radiation Therapy.
- Demonstrated expertise in leadership, clinical excellence, and professional development.
