Job Description

We're seeking a self-driven QA Manager to lead our software development quality assurance process. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Oversight of daily activities of the QA team to guarantee alignment with project objectives.
  • Assist in onboarding new QA team members, conducting comprehensive training sessions to ensure they are equipped to succeed.
  • Serve as a liaison between the QA team and cross-functional Scrum teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Evaluate and prioritize QA tasks to ensure timely completion within sprint timelines.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to represent QA activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements.
  • Perform manual or automated testing (functional, regression, integration, and UAT) to identify defects and ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Identify testing gaps and implement strategies to ensure complete coverage of requirements, minimizing the risk of undetected defects.
  • Monitor and manage defect lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution to minimize product downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and share testing progress, quality metrics, and defect reports with stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and technologies, such as TestRail and JIRA.
