Job Overview

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in fintech environments.

This is a contract role with an initial duration of 8 months, extendable up to 24 months based on project requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD processes, system monitoring, and database queries, coupled with a passion for innovation and adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions using PCF and AWS platforms in a fintech setting.
  • Build and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, Forge, and XLR.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize messaging platforms like Kafka and NATS to enable seamless data transactions.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve system performance using tools like Dynatrace and Splunk, ensuring reliability in a regulated fintech environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance systems.
  • Develop and optimize database queries for Postgres, Cassandra, and Oracle, ensuring high availability and data accuracy.
  • Provide strategic insights and technical leadership to ensure alignment with fintech compliance and operational standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory changes in the fintech sector to enhance system capabilities.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and motivated approach, thriving in dynamic environments with complex challenges.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system operations, or related fields.
  • Extensive expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., PCF, AWS) with fintech-specific implementations.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Forge, and XLR for regulated environments.
  • Strong experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka and NATS.
  • In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools, including Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Advanced skills in writing and optimizing database queries for Postgres, Cassandra, and Oracle databases.
  • Proven experience in fintech projects, understanding of financial systems, and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
