Job Title: Nursing Professionals

The Palliative Care Unit in our Blackrock Hospice has opportunities for Nursing Professionals to contribute to a caring environment within the ward and provide the highest possible quality of nursing care.

To be successful, candidates will have at least 1 year's experience as a Registered General Nurse or consideration will be given to newly qualified nurses with experience in Palliative Care. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical and administrative skills, enabling them to properly discharge the functions of the role.

Essential Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse with NMBI
  • Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
Desirable Requirements:
  • Qualification in Palliative Care
  • 1+ year post-qualification experience - consideration will be given to newly qualified nurses
  • Experience of palliative care approach
  • Experience in Chronic Illness
