Financial Operations Leader

As a Financial Operations Leader, you will play a pivotal role in our organisation's success. You will lead and oversee all aspects of our financial operations, ensuring the effective management of our resources. Your responsibilities will include payroll, pensions, cash control, budget planning, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the financial operations team, including payroll, pensions, and cash control.
  • Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports to ensure timely submission.
  • Drive the annual budget planning process and monitor performance against targets.
  • Collaborate with department heads on budgeting and financial planning initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems to mitigate financial risks.
  • Oversee payroll and time attendance systems, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and the board of directors.
Required Qualifications:
  • Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.
  • Expert knowledge of Sage accounting software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven IT capabilities.
