Plio Surgical is a leading-edge Medtech company developing a revolutionary, minimally invasive implant for gastrointestinal surgery. As we approach a critical phase in our development, we're seeking an accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to guide our product development journey.

The CTO will be responsible for shaping our product roadmap, overseeing design verification, First-in-Human trials, CE and FDA submissions, and commercial launches. They'll also build and mentor a talented engineering team, contributing to the executive leadership team and influencing fundraising, commercial planning, and investor relations.

We need someone with:

  1. A proven track record of successfully bringing a medical device from concept to market.
  2. Extensive knowledge of design control, human factors engineering, and risk management within ISO 13485 and FDA/MDR regulatory frameworks.
  3. Experience in start-ups or early-stage companies is highly desirable but not mandatory.
