The successful candidate will provide clinical and operational leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, guide clinical decision-making, and ensure that the laboratory's testing services meet the highest standards of quality and patient care.
This role is responsible for the overall oversight, management, and direction of medical and scientific aspects of the laboratory operations. Key responsibilities include providing clinical oversight and medical guidance for laboratory testing, ensuring all results and diagnoses are accurate and medically appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory medicine, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to stay up-to-date with new medical advancements and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical oversight and medical guidance for laboratory testing
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Guide clinical decision-making and ensure high-quality testing services
- Stay informed about new medical advancements and technologies
- MD or DO degree with a valid and unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Board-certified in Pathology, Clinical Pathology, or another relevant specialty
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory
