The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Motor Market Facing Underwriter to join our team in Wexford. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting new business and existing policies, working closely with broker partners and internal operations to ensure all areas of the business are managed according to the Zurich Way of Underwriting and within delegated authority levels.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Business Motor Team Coach to develop and implement underwriting strategies.
- Analyse and evaluate complex data to inform underwriting decisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all underwriting activity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer and broker accounts.
What You'll Need:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years' industry experience and a strong understanding of Commercial Insurance.
- A relevant professional qualification, such as CIP, MDI, ACII.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
