Senior Cost Manager

This role is for an experienced Estimator to join a reputable Main Building Contractor. The successful candidate will be part of the commercial team and report directly to an excellent estimating director.
Job Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing tenders, including quantifying material, plant, and labor requirements for relevant projects.
- Analyze sub-contractor quotations, checking inclusions and exclusions, and negotiate prices with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Issue tender queries and prepare tender reports, source and categorize pre-project information, and help create a procurement schedule for the project.
- Prepare cost reports and detailed estimates, and assist in completing the final handover to the project team.
- A relevant degree is required, along with 2+ years of experience working as an estimator or QS for a main building contractor.
- Must have experience working in Ireland or the UK for a main contractor.
- Good communication skills and a proven track record in taking tenders from pricing through to final client award.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Salary circa €50k-€55k.
- Hybrid working after probation.
