A Biotech Equipment Specialist is required to join our client's greenfield manufacturing site in Ireland. This is a fully site-based permanent position, focusing on providing equipment lifecycle management support to the QC Laboratories.
Key Responsibilities- Specify and purchase equipment for the QC Laboratories.
- Author and execute equipment qualification/validation protocols and strategies.
- Support equipment lifecycle management and laboratory informatics initiatives.
- Integrate QC instrumentation with LIMS and e-Systems for a paperless laboratory.
- Liaise between maintenance teams and lab personnel for equipment maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field (Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, etc.).
- Minimum 2 years of experience with GMP instrumentation, preferably in analytical equipment support.
- Familiarity with CMMS, Kneat, Empower, TrackWise, LabVantage LIMS, Veeva is essential.
- Understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory expectations for GMP systems is crucial.
