Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager

Job Description:

Lead a nursing team at a Dementia Unit in South Galway. This is a full-time permanent role working a 40 hour week, with flexibility required over 7 days and weekends on rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of patients with dementia.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
  • Have at least three years' experience nursing older people in the last six years.
  • Have a minimum of two years management experience.
  • Have engaged in continuous professional development.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the ageing process.
  • Have the clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
