About the Role:

This exciting opportunity involves implementing and maintaining business systems, as well as improving processes within the operations department.

The ideal candidate will have a keen aptitude for analytical problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supports manufacturing investigations, troubleshoot technical issues, and provides general technical service support for manufacturing facilities and marketed products.
  2. Reviews and updates documentation of production processes, recommending modifications as appropriate.
  3. Actively participates in Continuous Improvement processes within the Operations department and works cross-functionally with operations, marketing, quality assurance, and research and development to identify opportunities for cost and process improvements.
  4. Participates in and leads various initiatives and cross-functional investigations as directed by the Senior Operations Manager.
  5. Supports identifying new materials, performs tests, and delivers studies.
  6. Provides technical solutions for cost improvement, business continuity, and/or process excellence.
  7. Performs activities including reformulation, manufacturing process improvements, manufacturing site relocations, and qualification as required.
  8. Takes an active role in project team/technical project activities that focus on cost improvement, business continuity, and/or process excellence.
  9. Identifies, tests, and implements new technologies to ensure materials and process techniques are continuously updated, fostering production efficiency and costs improvements.
  10. Prepares documentation for submissions and preapproval inspections as required.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  1. A minimum of degree level in a recognized qualification.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of operational experience in a complex multi-national company/environment desirable.
  3. Experience working in an API environment or with previous pharmaceutical experience.
  4. SAP knowledge is an asset.
  5. Team player with an ability to work independently.
  6. Strong organizational abilities and a hands-on mentality.
  7. Focus on patients and customers at all times.
