Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Planning Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will support the Production Manager in the daily operations of the department, focusing on planning, KPI management, efficiency projects, and SAP administration to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with the supply chain to plan the manufacturing schedule.
- Serve as the SAP local key user, handling administration and optimization tasks.
- Monitor production stock levels using SAP.
- Manage system changes for manufacturing products, including BOM generation, batch record updates, and product modifications.
- Identify and implement projects to improve production and business process efficiencies, focusing on yield increase, throughput time reduction, process flow improvement, cost reduction, waste elimination, and safety enhancement.
- Oversee production deviation systems, analyze trends, and implement corrective/preventative actions.
- Lead the Lean Six Sigma initiative within the Production Department.
- Ensure compliance with all quality requirements in every aspect of work.
