Child Development Specialist

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to fill the role of Child Development Specialist at our centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioural functioning of children and adolescents.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct Diagnostic Autism Assessments.
  • Closely work with other team members to ensure high-quality care.
  • Provide consultation and support to parents, caregivers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree: A recognised university degree or diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) with first or second-class honours in psychology.
  • Postgraduate Qualification: An Irish postgraduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • Supervised Clinical Placements: At least 60 days (or equivalent) of supervised clinical placements in appropriate health settings.
  • Registration: Registered with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) as a Chartered Psychologist.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in clinical practice.
