Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Python developer to join our team. As a key member of the Options trading strategy development team, you will be responsible for maintaining and constantly improving our Python-based platform. This platform enables quantitative researchers to interact efficiently with trading systems, empowering powerful and fast data analysis and studies.

About the Role
  • Maintenance and improvement of the Python-based platform is crucial to our success
  • You will work closely with Traders, Quantitative Researchers, and other Strategy Developers to facilitate new trading behaviors and drive business growth
  • Setting up and maintaining production-quality data pipelines using large datasets is essential to delivering results
Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is necessary
  • At least 5 years of experience in Python development, including proficiency in the Python scientific stack, and enthusiasm for the latest developments in Python
  • Experience of distributed message-based systems and server-side software development with proven product delivery success
  • Knowledge of web services and Python development frameworks is required
  • Familiarity with the full software development life cycle and exposure to agile software development is beneficial
Preferred Skills:
  • The ability to self-manage, self-motivate, and seek process improvement opportunities is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with quantitative researchers and other engineers are essential
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to react to changing priorities are critical
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and propose novel technical solutions is desirable
