This role involves travel to various projects across Ireland. With a focus on delivering exceptional results, your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and specifying mechanical engineering solutions for buildings, ensuring compliance with current regulations and design standards.
  • Collaborating with the MEP team and project design team to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Coordinating pre-construction engineering activities, including services coordination and production of tender drawings, specifications, and equipment details.
  • Monitoring and managing projects during construction, encompassing site inspections, technical submittals, and RFIs.
  • Assisting M&E staff in all work related to project completion, focusing on safety and timeliness.
  • Working with the team to inspect installation works against the agreed level of the approved quality plan.
  • Attending project meetings and contributing to project success.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A third-level Mechanical or Building Services Engineering qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and specifying mechanical/building services systems.
  • A strong understanding of current engineering standards.
  • Previous Main Contractor experience, preferably with project experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Revit/BIM, Microsoft, and other relevant software.
