Senior Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity in Paediatrics
We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our prestigious acute facility in County Louth, Ireland.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on swallowing disorders. You will provide specialist assessment, intervention, and management of communication needs for children admitted to the acute service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment and management of swallowing and communication difficulties in paediatric inpatients.
- Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to deliver safe, evidence-based care.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior SLTs and students as appropriate.
- Contribute to service development initiatives within the paediatric and acute SLT service.
Requirements:
- CORU registration is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, including paediatric dysphagia.
- Proven ability to work autonomously within a busy acute care setting.
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and team-working skills.
