We are looking for a highly experienced Data Center Technical Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical direction of electrical design and implementation for our data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of electrical design standards and guidelines for the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other infrastructure components.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications for electrical designs.
- Participate in the development of technical solutions to complex electrical design problems.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical design.
- Excellent understanding of applicable regional electrical code (NEC, CEC, ETCI, NFC, etc…).
- In-depth knowledge of critical data center electrical equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, or regional equivalent.
- Detailed understanding of uninterruptable power sources, diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution units, variable frequency drives, and automatic/static transfer switches.
- Familiarity with medium voltage distribution systems design.
