Senior Physiotherapist Position Available

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior physiotherapist to join our established physiotherapy team in East Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition and develop personalized treatment plans to address their unique needs.
  • Deliver expert physiotherapy interventions, incorporating manual therapy, dry needling, and sports injuries rehabilitation techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear explanations of their condition and treatment options to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic patient care, promoting a seamless and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in physiotherapy, contributing to continuous improvement of clinical practices and mentoring junior colleagues as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • CORU registration as a qualified physiotherapist.
  • A minimum of three years postgraduate experience working in a clinical setting or sports medicine, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Proven ability to carry out dry needling, manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines as needed.
  • Dedicated to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physiotherapy.
  • Flexible and willing to work occasional weekends and evenings, as required by the demands of the role.
Desirable:
  • Postgraduate qualification in sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports science, or related field.
  • Experience working closely with other disciplines, such as strength and conditioning coaches, sport scientists, and rehabilitation specialists, within a sports organization.
