Sustainability Communications Expert

We're seeking a seasoned Sustainability Communications Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs department, you'll play a vital role in driving our sustainability narrative and enhancing our brand reputation.

Job Description

In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders across different skillsets to develop and implement a compelling storytelling strategy that highlights our sustainability achievements and product journeys. Your focus will be on using a multi-channel approach to communicate impact through data, narratives, and visual content.

You'll work closely with the Corporate Affairs team to anticipate and manage reputational risks, foster two-way dialogue with key external stakeholders, and build trust and understanding around sustainability and ethics.

Your expertise will also be required to craft media statements, manage press office activities, and maintain strong relationships with journalists. You'll create compelling multimedia content—videos, imagery, interviews—for use across traditional and digital platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive communications expertise with at least 8 years of experience in strategic communications within corporate, sustainability, or social purpose environments.
  • Demonstrated success in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple international markets.
  • Strong grasp of business fundamentals and strategy, with the ability to align communications with broader business goals and influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
  • Clear, audience-focused communication with proven ability to craft clear, concise messaging tailored to diverse audiences.
