In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for managing the compliance function, leading a team of trainees and reporting directly to senior leadership. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless delivery of tax computations, returns and other critical services to both Irish and international clients.
The Key Responsibilities- Compliance Management: Oversee the preparation, review and submission of tax computations, personal tax returns and corporation tax returns for Irish and international clients.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of trainees, providing guidance, support and mentoring to ensure their growth and development.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Tax Technical Research: Assist directors and partners with tax technical research and advisory projects, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
- Benefit Package: Enjoy an attractive benefit package and flexible working arrangements, designed to meet the needs of the successful candidate.
- Professional Qualifications: Possess AITI or Chartered Tax Adviser CTA qualifications.
- Work Experience: Ideally 3 years post-qualified experience in a tax or accounting firm, with previous accounting experience/qualifications an advantage.
- Skill Set: Demonstrate strong presentation, client communication and interpersonal skills, with solid IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, ROS and Teams/Zoom.
