Northern Trust seeks a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant, focusing on cash management and payment operations. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily cash flow requests, vendor workflow, and FX transactions, while providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with internal partners.
Responsibilities
- Cash flow management: manage daily cash flow requests, execute payments according to established controls, and resolve client-related issues
- Vendor workflow: handle independent verification and setup on payment platforms, and communicate with vendors
- FX transactions: process FX transactions and communicate with internal partners
- Process improvement: assist in developing a scalable cash processing workflow and streamlining the AP process
- Communication: communicate effectively with IT for development and enhancements of our Cash offering
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proven work experience in operations, preferably in Private Equity and Real Estate
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft package skills, specifically Outlook and Excel
- Basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial markets and instruments
