Job Opportunity

This is a challenging role in Dublin, Ireland, focused on flood risk management and climate change adaptation. As Associate Director, you will lead technical tasks, mentor junior staff, and engage in capacity building within hydrological techniques.

The successful candidate will be involved in diverse projects, helping to expand our flood resilience services both in Ireland and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical tasks and projects related to flood risk management and climate change adaptation.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in capacity building and professional development within hydrological techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and policies for flood risk management and climate change adaptation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent in hydrology or a related field.
  • Strong relevant professional experience in flood risk management and climate change adaptation.
  • Professional qualification (CEng, CSci, etc.) with IEI, CIWEM, ICE, or equivalent, or working towards professional status.
  • High competency with WINFAP, FEH, FSR, FSU, and similar hydrological assessment methodologies.
  • Senior experience on flood risk and water resources projects in the UK or Ireland.
