Our Carlow facility is seeking an EHS Specialist to lead our team in developing, maintaining and enhancing EHS systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering or Science and 7+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing facility.

About the Role
  • Develop, implement and maintain EHS programmes to ensure compliance with local legislation, company standards and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate EHS systems, programs and procedures for compliance and improvement by reviewing, auditing and carrying out inspections.
  • Manage day-to-day EHS queries, technical support and machine/plant/process or equipment safety issues.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure site environmental compliance against all regulatory licensing and legal requirements.
  2. Prepare relevant reports to site, divisional and/or corporate management and regulatory agencies.
  3. Maintain a high standard of documentation in relation to all activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering or Science.
  • 7+ years EHS experience in a manufacturing facility - Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
  • Proven record of success in the EHS sector.
  • Strong ability to influence others across departments and at all levels of the organization.
