Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Transmission Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing new projects that meet the company's goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on high-voltage transmission systems. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new transmission projects that meet EirGrid's goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a transmission planning role
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage transmission systems and associated technologies
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
