We are seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to lead our data centre design team in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA).

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing geotechnical designs for data centres, substations and grid connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Geotechnical Design packages for Data Centre Campuses, HV/MV Substation and Grid Connection projects;
  • Create, review and release RFP's for external design consultants
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team on developing site layouts during data centre masterplanning design;
  • Manage external CSA Design Consultants through the Design & Construction Administration phases of projects;
  • Act as Owners Representative ensuring timely delivery, high quality results.
Requirements:
  • Honours degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited school;
  • Postgraduate qualification in Geotechnical engineering;
  • +5 years experience in geotechnical engineering;
  • Experience in creating, reviewing and approving requests for proposal, bids, designs and documentation.
