System Integration Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Integration Expert to play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems across various healthcare settings.

This role ensures that critical systems, including labs, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, provincial registries, and external healthcare providers, are seamlessly connected and data is exchanged securely, accurately, and in real time.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in healthcare integration (HL7, FHIR), EHR systems, and stakeholder engagement across multiple vendors and jurisdictions.

This role provides strategic and tactical leadership for the Interoperability workstream, ensuring alignment with clinical operations, financial systems, and overall program goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the new Interoperability workstream within the given scope and governance.
  • Implement the program within the project scope and governance.
  • Establish the project team and allocate responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with other workstream leads where required.
  • Lead the decision-making process towards the resolution of issues impacting the workstream.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in health IT or systems integration.
  • Demonstrated experience in EHR implementation, integration projects, or health information exchange.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, clinical data flows, and interoperability frameworks in healthcare.
  • Strong project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
