Job Title: Quality Assurance Test Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our team. As a QA Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall quality assurance and testing effort of products, including software solutions, hardware, and firmware.
  • Engage in requirements analysis and develop test plans for new projects and updates.
  • Collaborate with the project team to estimate test effort and refine user stories for sprint planning.
  • Develop test cases and perform manual testing in an Agile environment.
  • Create comprehensive bug reports and record test results.
  • Design and run automated test cases.
  • Participate in the Agile/Scrum development environment and report on test coverage and progress against associated project test plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in IT-related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in web-based software testing or firmware testing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies and QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Proven diagnostic and debugging skills and good test software development skills.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, HTML5, PHP is desirable.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Protractor is desirable.
  • Proficiency in SQL, MS Word, and Excel.
