Fleet Manager

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the operational management and coordination of a fleet, alongside general administration and backup support for facilities-related departments.

• Strategically manage and coordinate day-to-day vehicle operations
• Provide administrative assistance to facilities and projects teams
• Develop and implement a transport strategy action plan
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to overcome transport challenges and meet organisational needs

• Lead the implementation of sustainable fleet practices in line with public sector climate action plans
• Oversee the procurement of new vehicles, maintenance contracts, contract bus runs, and other transport services
• Assist in implementing department actions stemming from regulatory inspections

• A recognised qualification in business, facilities, or transport
• At least 3 years of satisfactory experience in a relevant transport or facilities role
• Experience working in a busy office environment with internal and external stakeholder interactions
• Knowledge of GDPR and managing confidential information
