The Production Team Member II role at Merit Medical Galway involves performing a variety of assembly and processing tasks as a member of our manufacturing team. Key responsibilities include:
- Assembling medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis.
- Rotating through the assembly line to ensure efficient workflow.
- Performing on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed.
- Assisting Team Leader and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs.
- Ensuring product assembled meets quality standards.
- Rejecting product outside of specifications.
- Adhering to safety standards.
The Physical demands of this role include:
- Lifting -- Not to exceed 50 lbs. – local practice may apply.
- Standing for long periods.
- Bending and reaching.
- Visual acuity.
- Color perception.
- Depth perception.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
