We are seeking a dedicated QC Micro Specialist to join our team on an initial contract.

About the Role:
  • Maintain alignment with laboratory documentation and computerized systems data integrity requirements, ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Familiarize yourself with relevant regulations and business processes essential for maintaining laboratory data integrity.
  • Perform routine environmental and microbiological tests as required, utilizing industry-standard equipment and methodologies.
  • Develop and update procedures for microbiological and environmental testing, guaranteeing accuracy and precision.
  • Validate equipment and test methods for microbiological tests, adhering to strict quality control protocols.
  • Transfer and develop microbiological laboratory procedures, leveraging expertise in sterile cleanroom environments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all tests performed, facilitating efficient tracking and analysis.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Hold a third-level qualification in microbiology or equivalent science discipline, demonstrating a strong foundation in scientific principles.
  • Possess a good understanding of aseptic processes and experience within a GLP/GMP environment, including current EU/ICH/HPRA guidelines.
  • Demonstrate lab experience within industry - Bioburden / Endotoxin / Growth Promotion / Environmental Monitoring, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Showcase experience working in a sterile cleanroom environment, highlighting attention to detail and commitment to quality.
