Key Roles of a Senior Buyer

The Senior Buyer will drive the product strategy, playing a pivotal role in helping the brand reach its next stage of growth.

They must have 5+ years' buying experience in fashion, jewellery, or accessories, with a sharp eye for design, detail, and trends.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end buying process: forecasting, budgeting, and range planning.
  • Spot and interpret jewellery and fashion trends to ensure collections stay ahead of the curve.
  • Analyse sales and stock data to shape future ranges and maximise performance.
  • Partner with marketing teams to deliver campaigns, product launches, and influencer collaborations.
  • Manage stock flow and inventory across concessions, e-commerce, and fulfilment centres.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and support new product development.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' buying experience in fashion, jewellery, or accessories.
  • A sharp eye for design, detail, and trends with proven commercial success.
  • Strong experience managing budgets, stock, and supplier relationships.
  • Excel and reporting skills that turn data into decisions.
