As a Housekeeping Operative at UPMC Aut Even Hospital in Kilkenny, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. About the Role:
This part-time role will involve cleaning of Clinical & Non-Clinical departments, waste removals and management, and ensuring all equipment used is kept clean and in good condition. You will also be responsible for operating machinery supplied for use in Waste Management and Cleaning, and ensuring all safety measures are met. Additionally, you will be required to maintain the floor using a scrubber dryer and buffer, restock disposables and consumables as required, and carry out Deep cleans in all departments as per request.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess good interpersonal skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately. Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will also need to provide customer service and greet patients with a smile.
