Data Center Controls Engineer: Safe, Reliable, and High-Performance Data Centers.
Deliver and support the control systems that monitor and ensure the health of our data centers. As a Data Center Controls Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and high-performance of our data centers. You will work with various stakeholders to design, deploy, and maintain control systems that enable seamless operations. Your expertise in controls systems, electrical and mechanical systems, and project management will be essential in delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. About the Role:
- Design, deploy, and maintain control systems for data center operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Construction, Commissioning, Critical Projects, Data Center Operations, Procurement, Program Management, Design, and Engineering teams.
- Work with vendors and subcontractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in controls systems, electrical and mechanical systems, and project management.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical diagrams, schematics, and control panels.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
